Ordering & Prescriptions
Do I need a valid prescription to order prescription eyewear?
Yes. A current, valid prescription from your eye doctor is required for all prescription eyewear and contact lens purchases.
Can I upload my prescription online?
Absolutely. You can upload your prescription during checkout or email it to us after placing your order.
What if I don't know my pupillary distance (PD)?
No problem. We provide guidance on how to measure your PD, and our licensed optician can assist if needed.
Can I order frames without prescription lenses?
Yes! Many of our frames can be purchased as frame-only or with non-prescription lenses.
Can I order sunglasses with my prescription?
Yes. Most SuneV frames can be customized with prescription sun lenses in a variety of colors and options.
Lenses
What lens options do you offer?
We offer single vision, progressive, reading, blue-light filtering, photochromic (light-responsive), polarized, and premium anti-reflective lens options.
Which lens material should I choose?
Different lens materials offer different benefits such as thinner lenses, lighter weight, impact resistance, and enhanced optics. Be sure to scroll through all available lens material options when selecting your lenses.
Do you offer Transitions® lenses?
Yes. We offer photochromic lenses that darken outdoors and return clear indoors.
Can I add anti-reflective coating?
Yes. Anti-reflective coatings are available on many lens packages to reduce glare and improve visual comfort.
Contact Lenses
Do you sell contact lenses?
Yes. We offer contact lens ordering through our online portal with a valid prescription.
Do I need a contact lens prescription?
Yes. Contact lens prescriptions are different from eyeglass prescriptions and must be current and valid.
Can I reorder my contact lenses?
Yes. Returning customers can easily reorder through our contact lens portal.
Do you offer contact lens fittings?
No. Contact lens fittings are performed by your eye doctor during your contact lens examination. A valid contact lens prescription is required to purchase contact lenses through SuneV.
Mobile Optical Services
What are Mobile Optical Services?
Our Mobile Optical Services bring a Florida Licensed Optician directly to you for personalized eyewear and contact lens care.
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve Southwest Florida, including Fort Myers and surrounding communities. Additional travel areas may be available upon request.
What services can be performed during a mobile appointment?
Services may include:
- Eyewear adjustments
- Frame fittings
- Measurements for eyewear
- Prescription eyewear consultations
- Frame selection assistance
Do you perform eye exams?
No. SuneV does not provide eye examinations. A licensed optometrist or ophthalmologist must perform your eye exam and prescribe corrective lenses.
Patient-Owned Frames
Can I use my own frame?
Yes! If your frame is in good condition and suitable for your prescription, we can have your new lenses installed in your existing frame.
What happens if my frame breaks during processing?
While we take every precaution to protect your eyewear, patient-owned frames are accepted at the customer's risk. Due to the nature of eyewear materials and existing wear, we cannot guarantee against breakage during lens installation. A signed waiver is required prior to processing.
Is there a service fee for patient-owned frames?
Yes. A frame processing fee applies in addition to the cost of your lenses.
Shipping & Returns
How long will my order take?
Most orders are completed within 7–14 business days depending on prescription complexity, lens options, and frame availability.
Do you ship throughout the United States?
Yes. We currently ship throughout the United States.
Can I return prescription eyewear?
Yes. We proudly offer a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee on complete eyewear purchases. If you're not completely satisfied with your eyewear within 30 days of delivery, contact us and we'll work with you to make it right.
What if there is a problem with my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you to resolve any manufacturing defects or order issues.
Do your lenses come with a warranty?
Yes. All prescription lenses purchased through SuneV include a 2-Year Unlimited Warranty. We stand behind the quality of our lenses and are committed to helping you enjoy clear vision with confidence.
Insurance
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, SuneV does not bill vision insurance directly. However, we can provide an itemized receipt that may be submitted to your vision plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Who is behind SuneV?
SuneV was founded by Venus and Leo Sosa. Venus is a Florida Licensed Optician who is ABO and NCLE certified with over a decade of optical experience, and Leo serves as Co-Founder and President. Together, they built SuneV with a shared vision of providing exceptional eyewear, expert guidance, and personalized service.
What makes SuneV different?
SuneV combines premium eyewear, customized prescription lenses, contact lens solutions, and mobile licensed optician services to create a personalized optical experience centered around expertise, convenience, and style.
What does SuneV mean?
SuneV is Venus (the founders name) spelled backward. The name reflects the vision, passion, and purpose behind the brand's creation.
